Dr. Emily Bischoff began her educational journey at the University of Calgary, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, ON, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Emily is also certified in Neurofunctional Acupuncture through McMaster University. Her treatment approach combines acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and personalized rehabilitation exercises- all designed to enhance function and improve movement. She is passionate about providing the highest level of care to her patients and digging deeper to determine the root cause of dysfunction, rather than just treating the symptoms, leading to longer-lasting recovery.
Throughout her university and chiropractic school studies, she spent many years serving as a competitive gymnastics coach and sideline hockey trainer, experiences that deepened her understanding of movement and injury prevention. Dr. Emily has a keen interest in treating athletes of all levels, from competitive gymnasts to weekend warriors.
In addition to being a chiropractor, Dr. Emily continues to actively coach competitive gymnastics part-time. Outside of the clinic, she also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking and baking, and staying active through activities like weightlifting, hot yoga, and spending time outdoors.
